* 2004 Hunting Season *
3 Day Management Hunt:
- Four nights and three days full of big buck action. All inclusive package includes meals, lodging, one-on-one guiding, field dressing and processing of your trophy. Transportation to and from the Traverse City Airport is also included.
- The Management Hunt gives each client the opportunity to take the largest mature eight point buck you and your guide can locate. Our past Management Hunts have enjoyed a success ratio close to 100 percent, with bucks averaging over 136 B and C gross. The size of Management Hunt bucks usually ranges from 120 to 140 B and C gross, with our largest to date scoring 162.
- Hunting methods vary depending on the requests of our guests. Hunting methods will often depend on the time of year and activity of the bucks. Hunting stands and sites will be set up according to your choice of weapon.
- The three day Management Hunt costs $1,500, with a $1,000 trophy fee for the successful hunter due after harvest of your buck.
- All Management Hunts will be scheduled from Late September to October 31st. The goal of the Management Hunt is to remove the genetically inferior eight point buck from the herd prior to the breeding season.
3 Day Classic Hunt:
- Four nights and three days of unbelievable trophy buck hunting. This hunt is an all inclusive package and includes meals, lodging, one-on-one guiding, field dressing and processing of your trophy. Transportation to and from the Traverse City Airport is also included in the package.
- The Classic Hunt is for mature bucks, age five and older who are in the 140 to 160 B and C gross range. These bucks are usually those that have not made it to the trophy class (170”), and may not ever reach that status. These bucks are usually ten point typical bucks, but some Classic Bucks in the past have been very large nine pointers in the 150+ inch range.
- The hunting methods will vary depending on the time of year and the client. These mature bucks tend to respond more readily to calls and the antlers during the rut.
- Classic Hunts usually take place during October-December, with the prime rut dates being reserved for the Trophy Hunts (November 1-15).
- The cost of the Classic Hunt is $2,500, with a $2,000 trophy fee for the successful hunter due after harvest of your buck.

3 Day Trophy Hunt:
- Four nights and three days of amazing rut hunting. The Trophy Hunt is an all inclusive package that includes meals, lodging, one-on-one guiding, field dressing and processing of your trophy. Also included in the Trophy Hunt is transportation to and from the Traverse City Airport.
- The Trophy hunt is for the largest buck you and your guide can find. There are no breed bucks or off-limit bucks here at the Rowe Farm. If you like him, take him. Our trophy bucks are true trophies, at ages over five; they can and have outsmarted many hunters in the past. Body weights usually are in excess of 250 pounds, but if taken late in the rut, they can weigh substantially less. Our bucks will lose up to twenty percent of their body weight during the rut. The antlers on our trophy bucks have been in excess of 170 inches gross, but you decide what you take, not the guide.
- Rut dates are usually reserved for the Trophy Hunts (November 1-15), but other dates can and will be accommodated.
- The cost of the Trophy Hunt is $3,500, with a $3,000 trophy fee for the successful hunter due after harvest of your buck.
