While staying at the Rowe Farm, you will have access to 2 of the finest ranges anywhere. If you plan on hunting with a rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader or handgun, you will want to test your weapon and yourself at our firearm range. The range sits at the bottom of a long open valley, offering safety and seclusion. The range offers a comfortable and sturdy rest for both right and left hand shooters, and is covered to keep out the hot sun or the cold snow and rain. Targets are established at 50, 100 and 200 yards to test even the most accomplished shooter.
If you have chosen to bring your stick and string, you’re in luck. We have a 15 target 3-D bow range that will test your shooting skills. The only targets we use are McKenzie, and we keep them in excellent condition. Targets range from raccoon to bedded deer and everything in between. We change our 3-D course with regularity, but always set it up to maximize fun, safety and the challenge.
At the Rowe Farm we will utilize many different vehicles depending on your hunting groups needs. In the past we have used 4-wheelers to transport hunters and their equipment to stand locations in the field. We are finding it better to use John Deere Gators, or our new golf carts to transport persons to and from the hunt. Whatever your needs, we will have the right transportation.
